Can we at least not campaign as Republicans?

No matter who you support, we are ostensibly supposed to be Democrats.

If I hear one more post bewailing, "But taaaaaxxxes!!!!!"

We are the Democratic Party. We believe in a strong social safety net. We believe in single payer. We believe that higher education should not create a generation of young people entering adulthood as indentured servants to the corporate class.

To achieve these things, there will be tax increases. And Democrats, true Democrats, understand that those taxes are an investment. In our children, in the least among us, in our infrastructure, and in our future.

I have never once complained about an increase in taxes to support my local school district, even though I have no children. I have voted for every single increase every single time.

I am a Democrat. I vote to help every person in society. I do not subscribe to, "I've got mine! The government is trying to take it away!"

This verbiage and attitude is anathema to me as a liberal. It should be anathema to us all.

Can we at least agree, whether you're for Clinton or Sanders, that a Republican framing has no place in a Democratic primary?

You've said it so much more clearly and succinctly than I could.

Thank you.

asked a Hill superdelegate to support him: Show me that you raised a shit load of $ for dems or fuck off. How about you tell them about it too? I remember a thread after the WASH-AK-HA wins where they characterized the wins as 'cute little caucuses'.

And has spend much of the campaign hippie punching and then trying to appropriate Bernie's message when they saw it was actually popular.

They love Republican framing. David Brock's a master of it. This is not a both sides do it thing.

Especially this week, the vicious attacks on Sarandon, accusing Bernie of abusing his wife, lying about his finances, etc.

Sometimes I look at the threads here and it's indistinguishable from FreeRepublic.
