(22,912 posts)I love that. And unlike what I think I've seen from the Clinton campaign in the past there has been no specific encouragement to make $1 donations (which are a handy way to artificially bring down the average donation number.)

(230 posts)He's a Democrat when you want him to be one. What has sheister Schultz and the DNC done for Sanders? Did they release any funds to him?

(39,451 posts)majority of states during the midterms.
There were horror stories coming in from all over the country how the dem candidate lost by a few % points.
Here in Az the Dem running to head the Dept of Education lost by a few points to a woman that has been funneling $ out of public education and into the private prison complex.
The DNC did not put in one f*cking penny into this state but the RNC sure did - along with the Koch Bros.
I stopped donating to the DNC after Howard Dean left when they started ignoring my state.
Now I donate to the candidate directly.
As for Bernie, and I'm sorry he did not respond to Rachel in this way - there is a whole list of Bernie supporters that are running for office - including Tim Canova in FL that is running to unseat DWS. Bernie is going to need a progressive coalition should he be elected, and if he is not, we still need more progressives in Congress.
We donate directly to the candidates and not to the worthless DNC.

(2,353 posts)We are fixin' to blow past February's fundraising... I wonder how much closer we will be overall to matching Clinton's total fundraising for this primary.

(16,631 posts)We're so close to reaching $43.5 million by midnight. Bernie Sanders is counting on you to hit our goal. Chip in $3 or more to Bernie and DFA and help us win Wisconsin and shock the establishment all over again. Thanks for stepping up when it matters the most. -- Jay Henderson, Digital Strategy Manager, Democracy for America
