Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders holds a 6-point lead over rival Hillary Clinton in Wisconsin less than a week before the state’s primary, a new poll finds.

The Vermont senator leads Clinton, 49 percent to 43 percent, in the Public Policy Polling survey released Thursday morning.

The former secretary of State has an edge among Democrats in the open primary, 50 to 42 percent, but Sanders defeats her by more than 30 points among independents.

Sanders also leads the Democratic front-runner among young voters and men, but Clinton holds a 13-point lead among seniors.
