Hillary Clinton Has Fighting Words for ‘Bernie People’ at Rally (repost of locked LBN OP)

At a campaign event at SUNY Purchase in Westchester, New York, 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was interrupted by people who chanted, “if she wins, we lose.”

The Democratic front-runner responded to the “Bernie people” by saying “we’re very sorry you’re leaving.” Clinton proceeded by pointing out that she has received 2.5 million more votes than Senator Sanders.

Seriously, I watched the video without sound. I did not see any interruption, just continuous stump speech; no surprise, no pause, no anger, just smiley smooth sailing through a planned speech.

If those really were Bernie supporters, they were disappointingly ineffectual, and those "fighting words" really cowed them.

I still believe they were Chafee supporters.

She used to be further ahead. People are listening. Didn't Bill just tell people at a college rally that she was for free college?

Her foundation does in fact get money from the fossil fuel industry though. And I don't really care. I don't even care if individuals who work for Exxon bundle money and give it to her. I am a whole lot more concerned with how she creates business opportunities in other countries, it's not pretty.
