"They don't want to listen to anyone else," she shot back. "We actually have to do something. Not just complain about what is happening."
After a year of campaigning, months of debates and 35 primary elections, Sanders is finally getting under Clinton's skin in the Democratic presidential race.
Clinton has spent weeks largely ignoring Sanders and trying to focus on Republican front-runner Donald Trump. Now, after several primary losses and with a tough fight in New York on the horizon, Clinton is showing flashes of frustration with the Vermont senator irritation that could undermine her efforts to unite the party around her candidacy.
According to Democrats close to Hillary and former President Bill Clinton, both are frustrated by Sanders' ability to cast himself as above politics-as-usual even while firing off what they consider to be misleading attacks. The Clintons are even more annoyed that Sanders' approach seems to be rallying and keeping young voters by his side. SNIP
While Hillary Clinton's team contends her lock on the nomination as "nearly insurmountable," the campaign frequently grumbles that Sanders hasn't faced the same level of scrutiny as the former secretary of state, New York senator and first lady. Her aides complain about Sanders' rhetoric, claiming he's broken his pledge to avoid character attacks by going after her paid speeches and ties to Wall Street, and they point to scenes of Sanders supporters booing Clinton's name at his rallies. SNIP BS ALERT... SANDERS never PLEDGED TO SAVE HILLARY FROM HERSELF... BY ABSTAINING FROM ALLOWING THE TRUTH TO BE KNOWN ABOUT HILLARY!
Actress Rosario Dawson's 15-minute speech at a New York City rally on Thursday, (See It Below) in which she rallied the crowd by crying "shame on you, Hillary" and noted that Clinton could soon face an FBI interview over the email controversy while at the State Department, underscored the growing tensions between the campaigns. Near the conclusion of Ms Dawson's speech she spoke about the danger to Net Neutrality that Clinton presents as in "THEY" do not like us to be able to communicate and organize....

(3,017 posts)Once again, the Clinton campaign working hand in hand with MSNBC. Rachel Maddow hits Bernie with this nonsense, including video, and it is immediately a Hillary talking point.
I hate that Hillary and Bill are offended by Bernie's campaign after the campaign they ran against Obama in 2008.

<Clinton's guilt-by-association campaign has even moved to additional degrees of separation. For example, before tens of millions of viewers of the April 16 debate in Philadelphia, Clinton again brought up Obama's alleged "relationships with Louis Farrakhan," despite Obama's repeated and unequivocal denunciations of anti-Semitic statements and other controversial actions by the Black Muslim leader. The apparent extent of Obama's alleged "relationship" with the Nation of Islam leader which prompted Clinton's charge was that a magazine for which Obama's pastor's daughter serves as publisher granted an award to Farrakhan in honor of a successful program he had set up to rehabilitate ex-convicts.
During that same debate, Clinton went so far as to link Obama with the radical Palestinian Islamist group Hamas because the "pastor's pages" section of the weekly bulletin of the church Obama attended once included -- as part of a series of opinion pieces reprinted from various newspapers around the country -- an op-ed column from the Los Angeles Times written by a Hamas leader. Though Obama had already categorically condemned the decision to reprint that article, Clinton told the tens of millions of viewers that "we have a choice who we associate with and who we apparently give some kind of seal of approval to," such as the pastor who -- in Clinton's typically hyperbolic version of events designed to discredit her rival -- was guilty of "giving the church bulletin over to the leader of Hamas."
Hillary Clinton has even attacked Obama for having served on the board of the Chicago anti-poverty group known as the Woods Fund at the same time as former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers. Ayers, who was never convicted of any crime, is now a distinguished professor of education at the University of Illinois-Chicago and served as a former aide to Mayor Richard M. Daley. Clinton apparently saw it as irrelevant that, at the time of Ayers' involvement in the Weather Underground, Obama was just eight years old and living nearly ten thousand miles away in Indonesia.
This raises the very disturbing prospect that, as president, Clinton would use similar guilt-by-association smears against anti-war activists, environmentalists, opponents of neo-liberal globalization, and others who -- like Obama -- dare to challenge her pro-war and pro-corporate agenda.>

(2,145 posts)I have never been a maddow fan since her radio days - when I was a fan. She is a sell-out, cheerleader, runs a "fluff" 6:00 supposed news hour, repeats everything three times, and thinks she's awesomely funny. Not my style for serious journalism. Now I can add extreme bias in her so-called reporting. But the worst is her juvenile, gossipy trashing of a guest after they leave. Bernie this time but that she could do that to him tells me she and Toad and all the MSNBC tadpoles will do it anytime. That is no longer a news organization.
As for net neutrality, anybody heard a word since Olbermann?
Finally, Clinton went all the way against Obama and now can't handle the same she gave to him. That should tell people something.

So far the Sanders campaign and Bernie's supporters have been relative angels compared to the legions of human woodchippers the Republicans would set against her the general. My God, Hillary. Stop your friggin whining!
