A Clinton finally did something Chris Hayes can't defend

I had to check in if they were covering Bill's blowup today. Chris is incredulous that Bill is still using discredited "1994 language" and referred to it as "dehumanizing".

But Joy Reid fixed it for Hillary by saying that she has repudiated that kind of language. Then she basically equated Hillary on this issue to Bernie Sanders who voted for the Crime Bill. Of course, she didn't mention that Bernie voted yes because of other provisions and gave a speech warning about the bad consequences of the provisions he thought were terrible. And then she said Bill is out of touch with the position of his wife's campaign on this.

I doubt Joy came up with this on her own. Let's see if Bubba is OK with a Hillary campaign strategy of throwing him under the bus on this one, and whether anybody outside of the campaign will swallow it.

They should both shut up and Hillary should explain why she wants to be president, and how the country will benefit from having her in the White House

care less if Bubba is ok with anything his wife says or does, and vice versa, they are 2 separate people and as such neither can be held responsible for the others mistakes and ot thoughts and deeds..

I try to stay out of the primary wars, primarily because I have yet to meet that person that extols the virtues of what I assume amounts to perfection....

Many in Hillary's camp are rightfully angry, hurt, fearful of what the future holds, those in Bernie's Camp the same,

in many ways the actions of whomever wins the nomination can have life or death consequences and as such real emotions as well as so many fears should be expected to result in a loss of the ability to converse rationally...

So I try to speak low and tread softly, at least on DU....

As for those believing in those other GOP candidates I have no words nor sympathy for such shallow and hateful reasons they must possess in order to even contemplate such idiocracy....

4. I thought they were a 2 for 1 deal

That was the sales pitch when Bill ran. They're both heavily involved with the Clinton Foundation. Bill's foreign speeches were being vetted through the State Department when Hillary was Secretary of State.

What would a GOP candidate say that was much worse than Bill Clinton invoking 13 year old crack heads today?

Has Hillary ever told anyone that Bill speaks for her? If not, his assertion is meaningless and borders on male ego nothing more....

Bill Clinton is doing a Hillary campaign event in Philadelphia but he's not speaking for her? No need to respond, I won't see it.

Bill and Hillary are a team, and he would be no cookie-baking first husband should Hillary get elected, nor have they ever shown any appreciable policy differences between the two. There's no way to view them as separate political entities.

If Bill were not still alive, or if it was his child rather than his spouse running, we'd only be looking at a "normal" dynastic issue as with the Bushes I and II. But when a former president and a former first lady who occupied the White House for 8 years intend to return for another 8 years-- this smells to me as a violation of the spirit if not the letter of the law.
