(4,111 posts)immaturity - we don't need to be reminded of 9-11 constantly. It doesn't make her more qualified, experienced or compassionate. It shows that she is a panderer of the worst kind.

Fawke Em
(11,366 posts)Not sure what we'd name it, but the point would be that if you have to evoke it, like calling someone who's only got a bad idea, "Hitler," you've lost.

(5,946 posts)when they have no answer, they go - 9/11. Fine what are you doing now. (invading Iraq is not a possible answer to 9/11, by the way.)
Did the democrats have their flag lapel pins on. I am sick and tend to fall asleep in the evening for the last week and stay up most of the night because of coughing, I missed it. Did anyone talk about the axis of evil? sometimes I think I am in a time warp.
In NJ Christie tries to wrap himself in 9/11 and we laugh at him lately, he was not in office, and when he was, his staff did all the work, he was busy taking credit for anything he could.

(3,017 posts)They pointed out that it had been declining for decades and hasn't even moved up with the overall economy over the last 7 years. She started into a bunch of micro initiatives that she supposedly did or looked at when she was Senator and then the questioner left it at that and moved on.

(3,017 posts)Senator Sanders, you think Europe should be paying a bigger share of NATO's military expense and so does Donald Trump, so doesn't that make you Donald Trump?
That's the old you like dogs, Hitler likes dogs, therefore you must like Hitler.
