Looks like he's going to use the same approach in the general.
Did he time it before the NY primary on purpose?

(12,655 posts)and the other reality is that trump does not have to win every demographic. if enough disillusioned dems stay home, she won't get the votes. trump can get crossover votes. she doesn't even have a lock among dems, never mind the indys. and forget crossover votes, the gop will be yanking people off their deathbeds to vote against her.
she can't win

(43,941 posts)or are devouring themselves I could fly to Hong Kong and have one hell of a vacation. If Hillary is the nominee historic numbers of republicans will come out to vote against her. Trump will encourage his supporters to vote against her for the republican nominee and the Independents who break for dems will stay home along with a lot of fed up dems. Hillary won't win the White House.
I'm as calm as can be and well aware it would take a miracle to Bernie to win. I don't hide my head in the sand.

George Stephanopoulos asked Hillary how she felt about Herr Trump talking shit about her. She said it doesn't bother her and that's she used to being attacked. She did say it bothers her that Herr Trump talks shit about Hispanics, Muslims, women, the physically challenged, and other people.
Perfect answer.

(819 posts)I don't think she actually thinks people will. Clinton ties to the Panama Papers, waffling on TPP, Keystone XL judgement, her principled statement on Gay Marriage before she evolved, emails on trade where she public ally is against the deal while advising her colleagues to vote for it, money and arms dealings with the Clinton Foundation...... We aren't even scratching surface on material here. Her recommendactions to Obama on Libya, her cozy ties with Wall St., the email judgement .... Calling HRC "crooked" is mild compared to what is coming.
In the HRC supporter bubble, you think everyone is supposed to overlook this baggage and poor judgement. Independents, Republicans, and some Democratic Party members can't snd won't compromise. Google and You Tube clips don't go away.
Bernie could have and possibly should have been much tougher from get go This is mild compared to what is coming down the road. Can't sweep off the damping stuff off the Google and rigged voting systems can work against the initial candidate establishment wanted to run.

(819 posts)HRC supporters can never admit their candidate is GOP lite or can honestly defend her baggage, so they use the ol' "you are the problem" approach.
With that note, I'll use my time more wisely and phone bank for Bernie. I'd rather have a better world for my kids and keep what social security I have banked up than lose it to a Corporate, triangulating, fracking loving, bought out "democrat" like HRC.

(10,650 posts)Pretending every attack on Clinton comes from the right and is bogus is intellectual laziness or willful ignorance.
Hillary has a ton of baggage, some of it GOP fantasy (Benghazi, Whitewater), some of it real (Her cowardly and cynical IWR vote, her speeches to big donors, her email mess, the FBI investigation, her flip-flops, her dishonesty on her positions and actions, Clinton Foundation irregularities etc. etc.).
Her bad judgment and the results from that far outweigh any good she has ever done.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS
I am the accused (hi, jury). I've been at DU for 15 years. I'm not a Republican plant. And I did ask my accuser if he planned to edit or delete. He says no.
JURY RESULTS
You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Sun Apr 17, 2016, 04:20 PM, and the Jury voted 5-2 to HIDE IT.
Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: realmirage, everyone who disagrees with you is not a Republican. Even though you have made 302 posts since you registered Monday night, April 11, 2016, it takes a lot of grit to call someone who has posted on Democratic Underground for 15 years a Republican. Try posting substance instead of name-calling.
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT

The Clintons really did attend Donald Trump's 2005 wedding
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trumps controversial campaign could just be a ruse to sabotage the GOP, said U.S. Rep. Carlos Curbelo, R-Fla. After all, the billionaire is so friendly with Hillary Clinton, Trump invited her to his nuptials.
