everyplace has rules, if you cant follow them, or bother to be aware of them, perhaps you shouldnt do anything as complicated as mark a ballot.

for registration deadlines so the confusion will be less for many people. That's a pretty generous time line for the general. Wonder why primaries have such long lead times in New York.
