Group asks Supreme Court to throw out health care law -- because Obama may not be president

A highly conservative watchdog group called the Western Center for Journalism has asked the Supreme Court to throw out the health care reform law (known variously as the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare) — in part because Barack Obama may not be president legally.

The novel argument is contained in the group’s friend-of-the-court brief, one of more than a dozen such briefs filed by scores of groups with an interest in the law.

Most argue the central cases of the dispute — whether the individual mandate is constitutional, and whether as a matter of law the court must throw out the whole law if it finds a part of it unconstitutional.

Here, the WCJ folks want to throw out the mandate — but maybe the whole law, too, because of Obama’s background.

The fact that they are still pushing the "Obama's father wasn't a U.S. citizen" B.S. is ridiculous.
But The GOP is using that to file ballot challenges in Georgia and Texas (See link below.)

Someone needs to tell them that Mitt Romney's dad was born in Mexico and Mitt is running for president! LOL

This is what happens when radical extremists get elected to state legislatures.

Founded in 1991 by Joseph Farah (the brains behind WND.com news website) and James H. Smith (former publisher of the Sacramento Union), the Western Center for Journalism has been sponsoring and training investigative journalists for over two decades.
The WCJ first made its mark following the suspicious death of Deputy White House Counsel Vincent Foster during the Clinton presidency. Officially ruled a suicide by authorities, reporter Christopher Ruddy–with assistance from the Center for Western Journalism–unearthed evidence that shouted “cover up!” No matter how hard the Clinton Administration tried to conceal the real cause of Foster’s death, Ruddy’s dogged investigations clearly showed that the suicide ruling was phony.
Today, the Center is led by columnist and veteran broadcaster Floyd Brown. Brown is the author of five books and as an investigator helped unearth the Whitewater scandal during the Clinton administration.

As crazy as those racist nutballs are, I wish the Supreme Court would hear a case on what exactly a 'natural born US citizen' is that one must be to be eligible for president. And settle it in such a way that all past & current presidents (and serious presidential candidates to) would be eligible. Part of the problem is our founding fathers unanimously added that clause to the constitution with zero debate over it.

Obama's not the first president some racist nuts accused of being foreign born. President Chester Author had to deal with conspiracy theories that his Canadian immigrant parents had him born 100 miles farther north, in Canada rather than Vermont, even though they had immigrated to the US & Vermont years before he was born.
