81 net delegates for Hillary!

According to NYT, and excluding Connecticut because they haven't assigned delegates there, Hillary's coming out of tonight so far with 81 net delegates, pushing her lead over Sanders to nearly insurmountable levels.

Certainly did not mean to insult you.

I have friends who are Bernie supporters, and I'm not sure how that is taken as an insult. How is mistaking you for a Bernie supporter an insult? Care to explain?

Oh, ok, you're right that you've only been a member for 6 weeks, but I see you've racked up an impressive six hides in that amount of time. Your sig line really doesn't work for unity either, does it?

I'm a Hillary supporter, but this negative nastiness on both sides needs to end.

25. The only thing impressive about those hides ...
Tue Apr 26, 2016, 10:16 PM
Apr 2016

... is that it proves how rigged the system was. When I think of the things I've said in my day, and I got hidden for absolutely ridiculous things that weren't even true, such as saying that we shouldn't post Fox News links and being hidden because that questioned a long-time DU'ers reputation. I am proud of those hides because they prove how ridiculously rigged the system actually is. That the site is 80% Bernie supporters and they can use that balance to rig every jury alert doesn't prove their rightness. It only proves their abusiveness. There was maybe ONE hide that was for what was obviously a joke that I could justify. Certainly not the other six.

Had I not gotten alert-stalked the way that I did, I might have a nicer sig file, but I see no reason to be all bunnies and rainbows when I'm dealing with lions and tigers. This site should have admins that hides can be appealed to. If it did (and it doesn't), then people would be less likely to abuse the system.

I take it as an insult because I've been insulted so many times in the last few weeks, called paid troll, lurker, newbie (in a negative way), loser, slow, stupid, and everything else, that I just assumed if a person called me that, it must be meant as an insult.

And mind you, not a one of these insults has been hidden and I haven't said a thing even approaching that level of vitriol. So please, sell the hypocrisy somewhere else.

It's really not that hard to be civil. We CAN disagree without being disagreeable.

Anyone who has a billboard in their sig advertising STD cures and relating that to Bernie is not someone I believe has any interest in being civil.

It's that they're still abusing this jury system every day and clearly nobody cares which is probably why I won't stay here.

And that's fine, because quite honestly, I'm not changing anyone's minds here and while my fans would probably prefer I just shut up and sing (so to speak—I don't actually sing, at least not for a living), I can actually sway a lot more votes on Facebook.

I seriously doubt you could sway anyone's votes anywhere if you act the same way you do on this board.

If you have a problem with the jury system, take it to the admins.

You've been here just over a month and think you know better than everyone how DU should be. Primary season is always hairy here, but your input is not helping. Many of us have been through this before.

The admins will adjust as the season moves on and the GE comes into focus. I don't usually knock newbies, but you got a lot of nerve coming in as one and trying to tell everyone how everything should be. Go start your own board.

Now trashing thread. Good night again, Mr. No.

I am by no means what one would call a real celebrity, but I have been in nearly every newspaper in the world at one point or another. My public reputation is quite aggressive, to put it kindly, but I have lots of fans who listen to what I say because I call it like I see it, and that jury system is broken. So the day I am not speaking here, I'm speaking to a much broader base of people.

I remember the 2008 Primary season here because I used to read it religiously then. And it was NOT this hideous. It just wasn't.

Either way, my sig file goes down when my face goes up.

But if you want to believe I'm paid, by all means, I can't stop you. If this site actually had admins that came here, they could validate that I am not a paid shill in under a minute. You sound like you need to step away from the computer if you take a message board this seriously. I saw your whinging in the HRC group about your hide. You're taking things just as seriously and bitterly as those you complain about.

" It would be one thing if I didn't see things that were a thousand times more acerbic and nasty being alerted on and voted to stay because it was said by a Bernie supporter, but that is a fact." Lol, this is nothing more than "He did it first!" Just stop it.

Yet they're all crying foul over Facebook report bombs? What, pray tell, is the difference?

The ones who are voting to hide anything and everything are not in the minority. If you saw my so-called whining in the Hillary group then you already know how unjust the hide was that I posted. Since it wasn't hide-worthy, the only other explanation is that Hillary supporters are being silenced here.

It isn't whether someone did it first. It's that they're able to act this way and there's no oversight. And the worst part was it happened after I donated $100 to the site for a Star membership which the admin thankfully gave me back.

I don't care whether Hillary would like my sig line. Once she officially becomes the nominee, I will happily take it down.

I don't know what's worse, the constant accusations that I'm a paid troll or you telling me I should just be happy with it. Mind you, it's hardly upsetting me that much. I will always find a way to find fun in whatever adversity is thrown at me.

In no way did I call you a paid shill. Can you point out where I did that? You've made numerous allegations that are simply not true.

Again, you start your post with "Wah! They did it first!" You seem to hate Bernie supporters and Bernie with an all-consuming hatred that is really quite disturbing.

... so for you to say otherwise is ridiculous. Moreover, you made the implication by saying "we know why you're here." I am here for the reasons I stated. It's not about who did it first. It's about who keeps doing it and it makes the site impossible to use when you can't talk for days on end because people make bogus reports on things that aren't relevant.

And moreover, if I hated Bernie with an all-consuming hatred, I certainly wouldn't have said this board, as I have said numerous times, that I will be voting for him in November if he's the nominee. I have friends who are passionate Bernie supporters but they aren't rude about it the way people on here are. if you think being called a paid shill every time minutes is polite, then I'd hate to be in your friendship circle.

Either way, the day my sig file images go down is the day that they're replaced with pictures of me, which I am sure would qualify as an since, ultimately, I am the product I sell, but at least it would put to rest this ridiculousness about me being a paid shill for Hillary.

Currently, Hillary has a net of 32 delegates. It will likely be at least 55 but not more than 65.
