Reading here and hearing callers call in liberal radio shows, I am in AWE of the propaganda

successfully used over the past 25 years by the right wing conspiracy to destroy Hillary Clinton.

In fucking AWE.

I mean that sincerely.

I have heard caller after caller say they dont like her, dont trust her, but when pushed as to why they cant really put their finger on it.

Now most of them dont read Democratic Underground or have access to the posts here that are often (not always, but often) prepared by the GOP and placed here listing all the things you should dislike about her or reasons to distrust her, they just dont because they have heard thousands of times that they shouldn't.

Amazing.

The sad thing is there are plenty of reasons why a liberal should be bothered by Hillary as one should be bothered by most politicians, but most of the reasons given are bullshit and you never hear or read why it would be insane, and it is, to compare her to the right.

I feel that way when I drive up thru the central valley in Ca and have the choice of really conservative radio Limbaugh. Hard to believe what people will say.

You want specifics? I am anti fracking and anti war. I favor tax reform and immigration reform. I have been working against voter suppression. OK We shall see.

4. Honest criticism would, if being done by a liberal, at the end of the critique

include the following disclaimer EVERY time:

"Having said all these things about why I dont like Hillary Clinton, I will of course vote for her in November if she is the nominee"

5. Why? I've always been a liberal,

and Clinton has never seemed to me to be much of one. I can't vote for someone who doesn't represent me. I refused to vote for her in '08; and luckily then it didn't matter. This election cycle, she has done nothing but further alienate those of us on the left. How can we on the left criticize interventionist wars and corporate influence in politics and then turn around and vote for someone who embodies those very things?
