1. Trumplandia

It's a great state. Blue. Very blue. The bluest. And very great. Will go for Trump in a very big blue way.

2. Some think he'll be strong in the rust belt

I don't agree he'll win any of them, but those are probably his best opportunities

6. I don't know off the top

but there are several swing states that will and the General Election is all about swing states. Drumpf could carry Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, NC, Virginia, MO and perhaps snap a libertarian state like CO. His protectionist trade ideas and lack of PC lingo can be an intoxicating mix for disaffected voters. If there is another serious terror attack between now and November, he will appear to be prescient and his xenophobic views will become more and more palatable. If Drumpf isn't a Clinton plant, I'd say she is in real danger come November. He doesn't play by the conventional rules. ON the other hand if Trump is a Clinton operative sent to wreck the RNC establishment from within, well played to the Clintons, however if it comes out that this was the plan all along, there would be a revolution that night.

7. California elected Arnold Schwarzenneger, the Terminator!

Largely because the party offerings were so weak.

We put up someone like Hillary Clinton and we might just find ourselves looking at a Trump win.

8. New Jersey, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Nevada, Illinois and Wisconsin all have GOP governors.

It's not as wild an idea as you think.

13. Wisconsin has Ron Johnson,

Paul Ryan, James Sensenbrenner, Glenn Grothman, Sean Duffy, and Reid Ribble.

You think it a shock we go for Trump? I don't think anything would shock me in Wisconsin anymore.

9. Trump won't win Ohio

I was born and raised there. People are polite and folksy and a little old fashioned at times. They will not put up with Trump's outbursts and profanity. I'm guessing most adult Ohioans are embarrassed when they see Trump on TV and their kids are watching. Ohio Republicans had a chance to vote Trump in the primary and they said "No thanks" and voted for Kasich (who by the way, is so "over-the-top" Ohioan).

12. Here it is

Michigan

Pennsylvania

Ohio

Florida

Trump could flip Iowa too.

Of course NY and NJ are in play now. Maybe CT given how Hillary almost lost it.

14. The demos in each state work against Trump

I don't see them flipping. Romney won the White male vote in those states by an average of 15%, and he still lost them. Trump would have to get a higher percentage than that just to overcome his losses in the women vote.

15. I think he has better ground game

Then people give him credit for. At least Door to Door. We'll see. But this won't be a blowout.

16. What Latino is going to vote for him? What African American is going to vote for him?

What woman is going to vote for him? He loses these groups across the board in huge numbers.

17. He needs to get 45 percent of white women

Repbs have not won minorities since forever. 45 percent is high but it's doable. These polls are early and they are the floor imo.

19. To answer what woman is going to vote for him, I know of two.

My wife came in from work two weeks ago to tell me that her boss and one of her coworkers, she works in a very small medical office and they have a staff of about five women, were talking about how they were planning on voting for Trump.

She asked why and it's because, 1)The don't like/trust Hillary. 2) Think that he'll do a great job, I mean, haven't you seen his TV show?

She's told me about a lot of her patients that have talked about how they don't view Trump as some crazy loon, they see him as an accomplished business man.

And seeing that Trump is already moving towards the center as he's gearing up for the General, well, he's only going to get more supporters.
