Was the Indiana primary rigged?

Considering that whenever the polls get it wrong, the shouts of "it was rigged!" Are rampant here, I guess we have to ask- was this one rigged? Should it be thrown out?

Why the double standard?

None of the CTs involving Clinton have needed any to be endlessly repeated & accepted by Bernie fans.

That's the point.

3. It was an open primary, so they could not doctor the voting lists to prevent people from voting.

So no, it was not rigged.

4. There was voter suppression.

Polls closed at 6pm. If you worked that day you couldn't vote.

22. Just as it's always been. You'll have to take that up with the state... not the party.

Longer voting hours would have been nice. The polls closed at 6 for ALL voters, not just Bernie voters. At least they have early voting that a LOT of people participated in. Electing Democrats in down-ballot races will be a good first step in helping to gain strength in state politics and decision making.

Evidence is something usually involved in these kinds of things. Your OP seems to be lacking any.

6. It is interesting how DU never accuses an election of being rigged when Bernie wins.

Yet if he loses, the chorus of "the election is rigged" claims is deafening.

Do you have a serious proposal to improve the election process or are you just making noise?

If its the latter then:

STOP IT

Its bad for our democracy.

Only if he is the loser is it rigged. Although he is suing the state because one polling place opened late.

21. They only polled dems and indy's and repubs could vote for whomever.

Why do you only poll one party, when three parties can vote for your party candidate? This is why he wins in open primaries. Indy's go to Bernie, overwhelmingly. Some repubs. So if they are allowed to vote in the dem primary, why wouldn't you poll them????

They try to deflate Bernie, 'he's always losing'. Then you get a result like IN.

It's just party shenanigans. You can't manipulate a vote when three parties are voting in both primaries. So it's interesting Hillary win, where it's just dems voting, and all the caging, etc. So if it's the republicans who are doing the cheating as Hillary supporters say in NY, then it must be her, they want to run against.

Of course, I think 95% of the "FRAUD!" claims are delusional bullshit. The other 5% are part of Republican efforts to suppress Democratic votes in general.

So yes, at the very least, I believe it should be investigated.
