Is it just me, or is Mitt Romney the absolutely most unlikable person in the country?
I will truly have to move off the planet if I have to look at him and listen to his bullshit for 4 more years.
I shudder at the thought! Do us all a favor and just go away.... for a very long time. Pullllllleeeeeeeeeasssssssssssssssssssse

That is all...
Edit: OK, so that is NOT all. Don't mean to suggest that Donald is worst that Cheney (too much blood on Voldemort's hands for that). But you have to admit, he would be the second or third runner-up in the Mr. Asshat Competition. And I think Carson Daly is hosting this year. |

8. It is not only you!
It is not only you, Mitt is truly just, by NORMAL HUMAN PROSPECTIVE anyway, an unlikeable man. He oozes arrogance, deceit, phoniness, greed, and any number of other bad characteristics. If this slime ball is elected, after four years of his phoniness, even the Republican Party will be sick of his fakeness. But since he will not win the election, he will be stored away in the Republican dust bin of history as a loser, and someone who was not "conservative" enough to win...this will be the mindset of stupid buttholes like Rush, Beck, and Coulter.

The question I have is his run for president exempted from a very close look by the IRS especially into the children's trust and his IRA. What was he putting in there and at what value? Lots of potential cash for the Treasury sitting there. |

12. No it's not just you.
Can't stand that sob. He has no reason to want to be president, other than ego and entitlement.
And no matter how moderate he once was or claims to be now, keep in mind Repubs ALWAYS overreach, right out the gate. They act like they have an overwhelming mandate and they immediately start to do the bidding of their puppeteers. The Koch brothers don't give a damn if Romney SAYS he's for the 100%. He could swear to be the next FDR (as he almost kinda did in the debates). Makes no difference because what he says in his campaign and what he would do as president are and always were two totally different things. Romney is just a puppet, just an empty sock, that wants to be the boss of all us little peons. |

I thought the GOP Primary was hilarious...
But then Mitt started getting traction and I was mortified. This place has kept me sane over the last couple weeks. I just had to know that there were others in this country who were as freaked out by this guy as I was. I actually look forward to the 'concern' posts. There is so much factual reality thrown at those that it is indeed comforting. The 'concern troll' thing gets a little tiresome to read, but I'm willing to overlook the 'concern troll' trolls, just to get to the posts where sentient people lay out the logical arguments for an Obama win. 47. There is a long list of really awful people in this country that are more unlikable than Mittens....
But when considering how this campaign has been run, thoughts of Mitt as our top elected official really makes my blood run cold. Or boil. Depending on how you look at it. He has proven himself to be a person lacking in the characteristics we want our President to hold. He lies when the truth would serve him better. He thinks nothing of pulling every dirty trick in the book in order to win and this applies even in his personal life. (Think of the charming stories that his own family has related about Mitt and his insatiable need to "win".) He seems to have NO guidance from his faith, which according to him, plays a huge role in his life. No sign of that from what I've heard....other than a lot of empty rhetoric. His views (expressed in the secret video) show a man with no regard for the poor, the disabled, our veterans, the retired and elderly population. He has lived a privileged life for ALL of his life and has no compassion or comprehension of the life those not blessed with that privilege must live. He talks a good line about "helping those in need" but it's all talk, not what he believes. He has much more concern for the wealthy at the expense of the rest of us. Mitt Romney and his awful sidekick, Paul Ryan, would be a disaster of epic proportions for our country. I am not sure we have a FEMA large enough or funded enough to deal with the kind of misery they would bring on our entire country. Fortunately for us, the signs are there that their campaign is limping to an end, but not to Victory. That event seems more and more likely to belong to Obama/Biden!! One more time!!! |

I know politics based solely on identity is a bad thing, but to have a Mormon thisclose to being elected POTUS and you can't even get the support of prominent Mormons? What's up with that? I guess it's like Harry Reid said--Mormons don't feel he is a good representation of Mormonism.
