I was under the impression that the number of "establishment" Democrats in office was far larger.

The purpose of exposing the rigged system threatens those in that system. That's why the MSM was AWOL for a few months in covering the dark horse.
But not to worry. Changing even the direction of an intrenched system takes time. But it has begun.
