1. Maybe she set the home server up it because she was paranoid about State Department or other government IT/security people having access to information that could be used politically against her. She took her chances with hackers, foreign and domestic.

--1 (a). Maybe foreign hackers got in and real damage was done.

--1(b). Maybe Republicans got in and the Obama DOJ is about to lower the boom on them.

--1 (c). Maybe both Republicans and foreigners got in and and the DOJ can't go after the political hackers without divulging the sensitive information leaked in open court.

--1(d). Maybe people from a government agency got in and a debate is going on whether the wrongdoing of the agency was greater than wrongdoing shown in the e-mails, or in setting the server up in the first place.

2. Maybe it was all a sting in the first place and there was fake information on the server. A honey pot to plant disinformation for foreign hackers. She was cooperating.

--2(a). Maybe Republicans operative(s) hacked in and saw some of the fake information as political ammo to be used in the fall.

----2(a)(1). Maybe the DOJ can't go after the political hackers without divulging the sensitive information as false.

where was the NSA that it allowed the server? The people who control security of our country should have been on the ball? There is security all over, tapping people's phone lines listening etc. but this was happening right under their noses - why?

With so much at stake, taking the most likely possibility is the safest until more information is known.

The surely rules out item #2 are a reasonable position.

The most likely possibility is that Hillary set up the private server to avoid having her personal and Clinton Foundation email susceptible to a FOIA request or congressional subpoena. A lot of bad things followed from that poor decision.

17. The FBI has been investigating her server, what she did and scrutinizing her emails for a year

When you think about what all of this, it is daunting.

This case is unusual because there is an electronic trail of everything Clinton did. If she mishandled classified information or failed to turn over all of her emails, as the FBI requested--there is electronic proof. And if she did fail to turn over all work-related emails, that's an Obstruction charge and possibly evidence tampering.

God only knows what the FBI has uncovered. I bet we will never know all of the details.

The good news is that the FBI has recovered all of her emails that she deleted. That news has been public for months.

She's completely screwed. I'm tired of Hillary fans childishly asserting, "Stop it! This is a right-wing smear!" It's always been about the Democratic party. What's happening inside of our party and what this means for our Democratic primary and our elections.

It's time to start talking about what happens if she is forced to drop out. What happens? Seriously. Democrats need to be prepared. We need to be aware of the rules of our party. For example, what happens to her pledged delegates? Bernie will NOT inherit them by default. This situation does NOT benefit Bernie. What it does is throws our Democratic party into chaos.

Time for people to start discussing this like good Democrats--and discussing what is going to happen.

The FBI announced in late April that the bulk of the investigation is complete. They've all ready finished the groundwork. They know the story, because of that electronic trail. The only thing left to do is to interview Clinton. Not to glean facts, but to try to put the facts that they have unearth--into context. I think we will know where we stand very shortly after she is interviewed. If she doesn't drag her feet, she should be interviewed in May--and I bet our party will know by June.

I hope we can move forward like adults, discussing this incredibly serious situation and crisis that our Democratic party faces. This is bigger than Hillary Clinton. This is about this election and ensuring that Trump is defeated, if she is indicted.
