Elizabeth Warren. Barbara Boxer. Kamala Harris. Rachel Maddow.

Last edited Tue May 17, 2016, 01:26 AM - Edit history (1)

This is who was tossed under the Bernie bus by Bernie fans just this week alone.

Revolutions always always always eventually devour their own, as purification's and purity tests continue, it guarantee's the revolution factions off forever, continually splintering, never able to build coalitions. Solidarity becomes a strictly exclusive club, no inclusion, no unity.

Your enemy isnt someone who agrees with you 95% of the time, those are called allies.

When youre tossing Elizabeth Warren, Barbara Boxer, Kamala Harris, and Rachel Maddow under the bus, perhaps you need to do some soul searching.

UPDATE #1: Edited to add Rachel Maddow. That was quick. Im sure theres more to come. Remember: revolutions, even fake ones, always always always devour their own. Stay tuned.

I just voted and after some research decided she is a good candidate - so I voted for her! Not sure which Bernie supporters are throwing any of these fine women under the bus.

Boxer opted not to run this year on her own. And Elizabeth Warren is still my hero!

Maybe you should check your stories for Bernie supporters and who they support....rather than painting us all with the same brush.

So you really wasted your vote right there. You really would have been better off leaving the Senate line blank, because it's a betrayal of Sanders to vote for a candidate that hasn't even campaigned for him.

In all seriousness, that was a good choice for Senate. Harris will do a good job for us in the Senate should she be elected.

Maybe she changed her mind, but last time she was on the ballot, I avoided voting for her.

As would anyone who thinks medicinal pot is good, and recreational pot is A-Okay too.

We don't have the money to put everyone in an jobs apprenticeship program or college for free, so why should we lock everyone up for smoking dope?

(Every 39 minutes, someone in "liberal" California is arrested for pot.)

She vowed to fight to make sure Trump never got into the white house and bernie fans on social media took that to mean helping hillary win since she was tossed under the bus after not endorsing bernie in MA primary.

Game play, fundraising and politics now (free stuff, attacking the social safety net, war, etc). So all true liberal ideals and liberals, under the bus. I had someone only here less than a month try to call me a fake a democrat last night. My eyes are just stuck on eyeroll at this point.

I keep getting told that bald assertions must be supported by links at DU.

Some anonymous so called Bernie supporters made critical statements somewhere on the internets?

Is it DU or the DNC that is demanding blind obediance?

They also went after Rep John Lewis, Delores Huerta, Gloria Steinem, Jim Obergefell, Planned Parenthood, NARAL, HRC, Unions, Environmental groups, Mothers whose kids were killed by guns, even Demi Lovato and Katy Perry felt the wrath.

Stole campaign data, posed as union workers, used fake endorsements on mailers, etc.

All to coddle an ineffective 74yr old socialist from Vermont.

Not my revolution. I stand with our allies.

Bernie fails the purity test. That'll be fun.

But seriously, I actually find the thuggish jackbooted "you're either with us or you're THE ENEMY" behaviour of some Bernie supporters quite frightening. As much as Bernie supporters hate when we say it, I see FAR more in common between the more extreme Bernie supporters and Trump supporters (in their attitudes, not their politics) than I do Bernie and Hillary supporters. You'd think that would give them pause.

There are people on this very website who have always been peaceful pleasant people (at least on here) and who I am very surprised are happy to align themselves with a campaign this violent and misogynistic. I'd be embarrassed to be aligned with a political campaign who has as one of its public faces a red-faced thug who screams "Who gives a shit, BITCH?" at a sitting Democratic Senator.

We are Democrats. We're supposed to be better than that.

If I found a supporter of Clinton who has criticized Elizabeth Warren, Barbara Boxer, and Kamala Harris, I wouldn't declared that those politicians were "tossed under the Clinton bus."

Nor would I post concern-trolling to Clinton supporters on how they should achieve their goals.

"Of course there will always be a permanent underclass of minimally compensated workers. But those workers are free to leave at any time for higher paying jobs."

How deliciously ironic is it that you use the word "inclusion" after a post like that.

Much of the verbiage used against these women from "Sanders supporters" mirrors the language we have been hearing from republicans for decades.
