My Favorite Democrat is Hillary Rodham Clinton
She has been amazing me for decades now. I have never seen anyone stand up to the onslaught of right wing attacks from Republicans and come out the other side stronger than ever like Hillary has done so many times.
She is a fighter. She never lets the lies and the smears tear her down or hold her back. She has supported the Democratic Party and worked to change it from within her entire career. She has withstood vicious attacks from within and from without and done it with her head held high. She never gives up. This primary season has been one of the most gruelling ones I have ever seen. As passionate supporters of their candidates have fought a war of words. Hillary was the candidate fighting off those words from both sides of the political spectrum as the right knew from the very beginning that she was the candidate they most feared to face come November. She still managed to win more votes than any candidate in either party. In the coming weeks, the right is going to focus on her like a laser. I know she will not only survive it, she will come out on top. I know some say they won't or can't support her or vote for her....but as someone who was in a similar mindset and position in 2008, I'm hear to tell you that most will. Oh I swore I would never vote for Obama, and called him every name I could think of.....but at the end of the day....I not only voted for him once, but twice and became a big supporter of his presidency and his policies. I'm a Democrat. I live my life in support of Democratic ideals and policies. I fight against right wing hate whenever I can and I dream of an entirely liberal Supreme Court and both houses of congress being a Democratic majority with a Democratic president sitting in the White House. I may not get everything I want in life before I lay down the liberal torch of my generation....but seeing Hillary in the White House is something I am going to see and remember for the rest of my days. I can't wait to cast my vote in November!

5. I can't say she is my favorite Democrat.
I can say that she is one of my favorite female leaders and a personal inspiration. My mother and I will vote for her in November with tears of joy, just as we did in the primary.
Thank you for your op. So much of it resonates with me. |

22. +1000. I don't agree with her about a number of
things, but she is amazing. I don't think she can look half as tough as she must really be to take this on.
I've also come to suspect that her commitment to what she wants to achieve must be much stronger than I ever realized. Of course, for one of extremely few females who might succeed in this era and one who has fought for women's equality all her adult life, fighting to become the first woman president of the United States probably felt like a duty, just walking away a failure to step up. |

6. Yes, Yes, Yes
I grew up into old age with her. She is like my favorite aunt. I also respect her with all her flaws.
I can completely relate to her. No matter what others say, she will shatter the ultimate glass ceiling. This is the revolution for this country. I studied in the area where women and minorities were underrepresented. ( Math.) Now, I took new career path 10 year ago again in the field where women and minorities are underrepresented. It is not very new that so many progressive men do not understand how sexist the world still is. The wave of feminism started in 70's partially because of disappointment with the left. She will win. I cannot help liking her with all her mistakes she ended up making because I did the same. And, I am still waiting for the final revolution!! Hertopos |

25. We are the Revolution
WE ARE THE REVOLUTION. People of color, all the Mothers of the Movement and the Latino/Latina vote, LGBTQ men with the sense and soul to be feminists. It is us and I hope more women, the women for Bernie will see that and join us.

It's just the cost of war.

If you're family were wiped out, I'm sure you would be appreciative about the US saving you, right?
