Here is why the fever pitch for Bernie to give up keeps rising from Camp Weathervane...

http://politicaldata.com/and-the-surge-goes-on/

California is set to have a new registration spike approaching that of general elections. Over 2 million new registered voters with over a million between Dems and Others (mostly independents). Since independents can only vote in Democratic primary we can say that at least a million new Dems registered.

Also this is just from May 1st there is expected to be another massive surge this month of May as well.

For this primary season we have seen:

REG GROWTH
DEMOCRATIC 218%
REPUBLICAN 78%
NO PARTY / OTHER 74%
LATINO 123%
AGE 18-24 87%
AGE 25-30 188%
Comparing 2012 and 2016 registration from Jan 1 – May 1.

as always.

Used to be The Gays who got blamed for every electoral setback around here, until homophobia became somewhat frowned upon. The hippies are always fair game, though.

2. If they get Bernie to drop out then HRC would probably get a majority of the pledged

delegates that are needed to secure the nomination. She would not at that point NEED the super delegates to put her over the top, and the HRC camp will very disingenuously say that she won fair and square WITHOUT the superdelegates. They will make the argument to KEEP the superdelegates for this reason, and they will get more support from people if this scenario plays out.

I feel the superdelegates coming in for HRC were ridiculously and unfairly helpful to HRC's chances of getting the nomination. I would go so far as to say she might not be winning the primary at this point in time without them. They allowed the corporate media to unscrupulously paint a narrative that made HRC seem inevitable and the clear winner from a very, very early point in the race. They could NOT have done this without the existence of the superdelegates.

It is so important that we eliminate superdelegates. This, amongst many other reasons is why Bernie MUST stay in the race.

This may be the most important stretch of the entire primary.

from American Independent (she did not understand that this was a far right party and not 'independent' to No Party. I saw a notice somewhere recently that 31,000 people in CA have changed from American Independent in recent months. Suspect most of them went No Party but have not seen stats.

10. Therefore, California must be on guard against election "irregularities."

Certain desperate candidates with highly paid operatives will do anything to win.

So please, California Bernistas, be on the lookout. Have lots of poll watchers on hand and do whatever needs to be done to assure an honest, fair election.
