Pledged delegates awarded to both candidates will also be close in numbers. That will ensure that Clinton has a majority of pledged delegates after June 7. Once that occurs, the race is over. There's also a primary in DC the following Tuesday. That one is certain to be a large win for Clinton. She won't need those delegates, but they will add to her majority.

I see no chance for any sort of landslide in CA for Bernie. It's just not in the cards. The state is too large, and has too many distinct areas that will vote in the majority for Hillary. A near tie is about the best Sanders can hope for. He might also lose by high single digits. I don't know, but we'll all know in 8 days.
