If Trump wins, it doesn't matter who thinks who's fault it is.

Fingers will be pointed. The "mainstream" of the party will blame the left and the left will blame the DNC and the east will blame the west and the top will blame the bottom. It won't make any difference. What will matter is President Drumpf and that will really suck for us all.

So here's what we do. We make sure that doesn't happen. We vote for the Dem nominee, which is the only possible way of stopping it.

And, OK, if you think only Bernie can beat Trump, then sure, advocate for him, all the way to the convention, advocate for the supers to overturn it and all. Even cheering on the FBI.

But eventually we'll know how it turns out. At that point, only one person on earth will be able to stop Drumpf. At that point, we all support and vote for that person. We can do this.

Because it's much better to have no Trump than it is to have Trump and also someone to blame.

I have accepted that he is now close to an inevitability. Due to how matters stand, she will probably be the only person that can stop his ascendancy, and sadly do not believe she is up for the task.

Which is why my position is now to support local races beyond my state.

Hard as it is to say, I will vote for her, beyond that... nothing.
She will not get a single red cent from me willingly.

I can not defend her much, as the only things I can defend her in are in matters that are clear(Iraq War Vote and Benghazi, but even with those she does not seem to have learned her lesson), but other than that, it makes me sound like a blind moron. I'd get too tired trying to put out fires of her own making, due to her actions in the past, easily verifiable videos and her penchant to following the law yet breaking the spirit of it, which makes her look corrupt. So, I am not going to do it.

Either Presidency will be an unmitigated disaster in my view, and even though she comes ahead in many ways, it is still by a slim margin that I am uncomfortable with.

Being better than Trump is such a losing message, particularly as she is not seen as that much better.
This hearkens back to the doom and gloom campaign where I was getting emails saying "The End is Near", "It's Over" that is, "if I do not donate or support them in some way," which made me so dispirited and mad back then, and where the Democrats lost ground in the House and Senate by large numbers.

I don't see her being able to "pivot" her message towards a better future.

You know what's sad?

Hillary is running using the "At least I'm not Trump", or "America is never going to be this way or have certain things", "not suggesting a fight towards progress but incremental improvement that is not guaranteed".

Trump as wrong as he is in many things, his message basically goes towards "Making America Great Again". Stupid as that may sound, it denotes striving towards greatness. Which brings enthusiasm. Misguided as it may be, it is selling a brand, and that is what they are doing. It is the wrong direction, but some people think that it is at least moving a direction.

Not sure how Hillary will sell her brand better, and perhaps at the 2nd half of the year, things could get better. I have my doubts, but there are a few months for her to try to convince Independents that her campaign has insulted to go to her tent. Trying to pass herself off as a Progressive at this time will most likely invite ridicule as many do not think she has integrity, she changed her position so many times during this campaign. Being "Better than Trump" is not enough, nor is shaming people to vote for her. I understand that people see Trump as being despicable, and I do, but the margin/gap/difference between the two is much less for some than one thinks.

I'll do my best to mitigate damage elsewhere. Presidential level however, I wish people luck, as I don't see a win.
