(6,409 posts)Fans of Donny Shortfingers only love him more because Hillary attacks him. If she criticizes what he says, it's taken as a personal stab at him. His whole campaign is based on emotions and personalities, buzzwords, fear, etc.

(99,708 posts)Trump will always have his followers. The goal is to ensure he doesn't get new ones.
...Democrats should walk on eggshells and be very careful not to criticize or offend the donaldDUCK? Please clarify or do you need to.

(6,409 posts)All we can do is write off his "natural" supporters and try to prevent normal people from getting sucked in.

(6,280 posts)... she hit all the right notes to dissuade potential Trump voters from leaning towards him. As far as his solid base is concerned, I don't really give a rat's ass what they think. They are not rational enough to overcome their willful ignorance and lemming-like mentality anyway. Besides, a lot of those "normal" people are probably republican, and she would more than likely be tagged as weak, and a panderer by many of Bernie's supporters had she tailored her speech so as not to offend them. She did fine. It was a great speech, and I applaud her.

(6,280 posts)Hillary Clinton will be the nominee, obliterate Trump in the GE, and be sworn in as the next president of the United States. Take it to the bank

(11,495 posts)However his fans are not enough to get him elected. He has no chance with Latinos, AA, women, Asians, Muslims, and of course anyone with half a brain. His fans may adore him, and fall for his BS, but that just won't get him into the WH.

(10,819 posts)That was a hell of a speech. Trump, of course, trying to deflect the moment, pushed out an announcement of Paul Ryan's support in November. Despite that, Hillary skinned the Donald alive. The only thing left is the rat he wears on his head!

(6,972 posts)Elizabeth Warren has been allowing her twitter muscles to rest, so she can go back at Trump and slay him again.
Hillary Clinton walked up one side of Trump with her fantastic Foreign Policy Speech, and Elizabeth Warren will walk down the other side of him on twitter in 10, 9, 8, 7.....
