Mitt is a lost cause, imagine the GOP putting Mitt against Obama, that is so laughable. But we cannot count our chickens before they are hatched. Bush got a second term, who would have believed that?

I have threatened to never speak to anyone who votes right or doesn't vote at all again. And I mean it. In this climate, that is BEYOND irresponsible.

President Barack Obama approved federal assistance for homeowners, renters and businesses in six counties in southern Indiana affected by tornadoes and severe storms, state officials said. Gov. Mitch Daniels was notified about the declaration Friday night, officials said.

The president's action makes federal funding available to Hoosiers in Clark, Jefferson, Ripley, Scott, Warrick and Washington counties.

Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.

He also called for the creation of a national network for manufacturing innovation while in Virgina.

President Barack Obama is calling for the creation of a national network for manufacturing innovation, proposing a $1 billion investment to open as many as 15 regional institutes that would collaborate with private businesses, universities, community colleges and federal agencies around the nation.

U.S. Rep. Gary Peters of Bloomfield Hills has a simple suggestion: Build one of the hubs in Detroit.
"President Obama is right, we must invest in American manufacturing and that's why I am going to work with stakeholders in metro Detroit to make sure we make the strongest case possible for our region to be the site for an Institute of Manufacturing Innovation that's focused on 21st century vehicle technology development," Peters said in a statement sent to MLive.com.

Obama's proposal, which he unveiled today at the Rolls-Royce Crossepointe jet engine disc manufacturing facility in Virginia, includes immediate creation of pilot institute funded with a $45 million investment from the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Commerce and the National Science Foundation.

He also went to a fundraiser in Houston

What now? Even the spin from your source doesn't say he "outlawed protesting."

Civil liberties experts say that most of h.r. 347's restrictions have already been on the books for 40 years.
