Hillary's most effective strategy during debates with Trump was seen yesterday.

When we move into the general elections season, there are going to be debates between her and Trump. Her speech yesterday should be a key to how she should approach those debates. Her calmer demeanor and humorous jabs at Trump were very effective.

So, when Trump rants on at the debates, she should keep her cool and respond with calm ripostes along those lines. I think the line, "Please proceed, Mr. Trump" could be used to good effect at times, too.

Donald Trump has neither the intellect nor the vocabulary to speak without simply calling his opponent schoolyard names. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has great intelligence and a flexible vocabulary. She has shown that she is able to eviscerate Trump simply by speaking.

I look forward to seeing the Hillary Clinton from yesterday's speech at the inevitable debates. Let Trump rant, and then respond with well chosen words to destroy him.

I can't wait!

Her demeanor at the Benghazi inquisition would be a good example.

of his nonsense. He is powerless when it comes to discussing serious things. He simply has no words.

Donald's dead meat, I think. Maybe she'll turn him into a Trumpwich and serve that to the audience, too.

Hillary won't be playing the dozens with Trump. The difference will be clearly visible and will be convincing.

that when he is behind in September/October that she even needs to debate him. Just getting on the stage with him, gives him a certain stature that he is not worthy of.

Her message was polished for what it was, and done well.

One word of warning for her however.

She talked mostly about foreign policy, he talked about economics, trade and jobs. They both talked about how awful each other would be.

As dumb as he sounded, I felt the topics that the two had were reversed, and I tend to think the message about economy and jobs as the stronger motivator in comparison to the fear of foreign policy and how much of a disaster he would be.

to NOT debate her. He'll come up with one pathetic excuse after another but frankly, I'll be stunned if he debates her.

from the Republican debates, where he bludgeoned his weak opponents with insulting attacks. He may believe that his approach will continue to work in the GE debates. His ego knows no boundaries.

better at expressing herself than Trump is. Trump has only bluster to offer. Hillary has a full range of expression she can call on.

As she demonstrated yesterday, she can use reason, humor and a much broader range of oratory to make her point. Trump relies on single syllable words familiar to every fourth grader or middle school child.

Although that simplistic language does speak to a minority of Americans who are similarly language-limited, that will not do for the General Election. As my 91-year-old, Republican mother puts it, "That man is nothing more than a boorish clown." She will vote for Hillary Clinton and she will definitely go to the polling place and vote.

Actually Trump gives a good lead in to his opposition in that you minimally have to discuss programs you promote. This really works to Hillary's advantage no promises and all she has to say is "I am not Trump." Where Trump does excel is name calling and insults and the people who fall for that are too ignorant to notice that Donald is an egomaniac. Donald can still win, this country elected George Bush twice. Will Trump get smart stop with the immature name calling and let the decades of Clinton political baggage be exposed? My only hope he is too broke to pay for the ads, and he allows his egomania to run his mouth even then it does not hurt him with his core supporters. As a newly minted Hillary supporter I look forward to Bill running the American economy Hillary really has stellar experience at State and the moral high ground.
