Hate is debatable, but fear is absolutely something that belongs in any sane decision-making process.

The idea that you should ignore possible negative outcomes and assume that the best will happen regardless of the evidence is not a sensible one.

I'm suggesting that accentuating the positive and downplaying the negative is nothing to do with intestinal fortitude.

Obama was a nasty Republican who was going to CAVE and kill us all.

Never happened ... but that was predicted OVER and OVER and OVER.

Hatred and Fear again and again.

Now same emotional attacks are thrown at Hillary, day after day.

Obama used to be the person responsible for all of the worlds ills.

Now it's Hillary.

Same DU folks who've been trashing Obama, now trash Hillary.

Fear is not per se irrational.

I do not swim upstream of Niagara Falls because I fear the consequences of doing so.

Absent fear, one can dispense with all kinds of safeguards.

Should someone engage in unprotected sex? Why not? They might get a disease or they might not. The disease might be curable, or it might not.

Meh, what good is fear. Throw away the condoms.

You are eventually going to die of something anyway. Why worry about it?

What's so sensible about not smoking if I end up getting run over by a truck tomorrow?

Hatred & fear for Democrats.
Hatred & fear for the Democratic Party.
Hatred & fear for the nominee of the Democratic Party.
