The reasons why Hillary's epic take-down of Trump in her foreign policy speech was BRILLIANT.
It will go down as the best speech so far in this campaign and among the best in recent history. Here's why it was BRILLIANT and has left FrankenTrump and the GOP SHELLSHOCKED (let me count the ways):
1) First and foremost, it was brilliant OFFENSE and hit the GOP straight in the eyeballs. They never saw this coming, at least not at this juncture. She punched these GOP bloodsuckers right in the face very hard when weren't looking. It was BRUTAL, and they are shaking their heads not knowing what hit them. The GOP is not used to Democrats being so aggressive, and it has scared the CRAP out of them. YOU GET ON OFFENSE AND STAY THERE! And they know this is just the start.
2) Her attacks were relentless, mountainous, and very well crafted born of Trump's own endless STUPID statements which Trump and the GOP simply can not escape. It was an epic pile-on.
3) She attached the attacks, brilliantly, to why Trump is fundamentally unqualified and downright dangerous.
4) She contrasted herself masterfully with Trump, showing that she is everything Trump is not: well prepared, brilliant, knowledgeable, measured, PATRIOTIC, and SANE.
5) She FRAMED and DEFINED Trump WITH HIS OWN STATEMENTS as an unstable, dangerous, bigoted, unqualified FOOL, painting him straight into a corner. (Trump has since accused Hillary of "lying" about him and delivering a "boring speech" which just proves her very points. She retorted with, "YOU SAID ALL OF THIS, DONALD." And anyone who saw that speech was mesmerized, not "bored." Just BRILLIANT.)
6) Her setting was draped in patriotic flags in the U.S. military and border city of San Diego.
7) She ESTABLISHED THE ATTACK NARRATIVE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN that ANYONE can use against Trump and the GOP. She brought out so many memorable lines.
8) She spoke to the world and world leaders, to op-ed writers, to pundits, to Democrats, to the GOP, to Trump, to progressives, to Dem leaders, and, most of all, to moderate independents who needed to know what Trump actually is.
9) PERFECT TIMING. Many were only listening to Trump's slogans. She came out of the gate and DEFINED TRUMP as the NUT he is with MANY DETAILS from his very own MOUTH and then put them into a context that just tore him to pieces.
10) She came out looking PRESIDENTIAL. It was amazing wordcraft. So well structured and perfectly delivered with the right blend of seriousness, crisp articulation, pacing, and moments of humor. Just EXCELLENT.
