Clinton won't have enough delegates to win nominaton before the Democratic convention. Live With It!

That's just a fact of life and Democratic Party nomination rules and procedures.

However, people can live in denial with blinders on pretending that Hillary Clinton has been nominated as the Democratic Party candidate for President even without enough pledged delegates and before a single vote has been cast for her by convention delegates.

People can also pretend that Hillary Clinton has been elected the President of the United States and defeated Donald Trump before a single vote has been cast in the General Election.

But, I prefer to be a fact based realist, not living in the fantasy world of fawning Hillary supporters.

5. Check out the rules. Superdelegates are free to dump their preferred candidate on July 25th.

Once again, they are not pledged nor required to vote for a candidate they declared a preference for last year or at anytime prior to the convention. They are free agents.

Is that clear?

3. hate to point out the obvious but nobody today (media included) is saying she IS nominated,

they are only saying according to their counts she has enough delegates pledged to vote for her on the first ballot so she is the presumed nominee.

the only delusional fawning fantasy is that bernie is going to somehow overturn the will of voters and undemocratically hijack the nomination

6. The superdelegates are not pledged to vote for Clinton or Sanders. There are no rules binding them

Big corporations and Wall Street have hijacked the Democratic Party and are funding the Democratic Party convention and their favored candidate, Hillary Clinton.

But the former Senator from Wall Street has not captured the nomination yet on behalf of the moneyed interests no matter much you may wish it was so.

and you say Bernie Sanders supporters have a "delusional fawning fantasy" of overturning the will of voters and undemocratically hijacking the nomination? Are you kidding?

12. Bernie announced SD endorsements before the first vote, too.

He just didn't have as many to announce.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2015/12/29/sanders-announces-the-support-of-a-superdelegate-its-his-11th-clinton-has-32-times-as-many/

Being better at getting support isn't a sin in an election. Its the goal of the election.

I'm sure Bernie wishes he had gotten more SDs. I also am sure he wishes he'd gotten more pledged delegates.
Heck I'm sure he wishes he had gotten more votes the four times he ran for office in Vermont and lost.

Losing happens.

4. Facts
Mon Jun 6, 2016, 11:28 PM
Jun 2016

Fact: Hillary has enough pledged delegates and super delegates to win on the first ballot.
Fact: The President is about to endorse Hillary.
Fact: Hillary received more votes nationally than Bernie.
Fact: Super delegates will not flip and defy the will of rank and file Democrats to nominate a life-long Socialist to changed parties only last year so he could run for president.

In ~18 hours, Hillary Clinton will be the presumptive nominee.

You have no say in that.

But here in the real world, Hillary will be the presumptive nominee, if not now, in 24 hours, when she locks up the pledged delegate lead, as well as the total delegate lead, and the popular vote lead.
