You know, I haven't felt that way since the early 1980's. Back when that Day After Tomorrow TV film came out that showed life after a nuclear war in America.

I remember growing up in my pre-teen years with that film, a far different feeling from my parents who grew up being told to hide under their school desk to survive an atomic attack.

I grew up with the understanding that it would be an instant end for most of us should that happen.

So when talking about an election as the end of the world, all I can do is just laugh, because it's simply so absurd on the face of it that I really find it hard to take the person saying it seriously.

Or is this one of the moments where the person saying it is one of the very few in the world that sees reality as it truly is and the rest of us are just rubes?

I do not think it will be different than the last 15 years. Pretty bad and steadily getting worse. My great dissapointment is that there is a chance to take anothet path.
