Another Bernie Myth - Waiting until everyone has voted.

Many primary cycles have occurred where the election was wrapped up beforehand and there were still primaries to go. In fact that happens quite often. This is the first time that we have heard the complaint that we need to wait until everyone has voted. NO WE DON'T. HILLARY HAS RECEIVED COMMITMENTS FROM MORE THAN HALF OF THE DELEGATES. ITS OVER.

And as to flipping superdelegates? Bernie campaign aide Jeff Weaver has just admitted that THEY HAVE NOT FLIPPED ONE SUPERDELEGATE. They need to flip 400 because Bernie trails by 800 delegates. ITS OVER.

Now we find out both Obama and Biden have indicated that they are supporting Hillary. ITS OVER.

Bernie needs to do the sane thing and tomorrow concede.

when the nominee is decided before you get a chance to vote. In which case, I'd wonder why you'd bother to vote at all.

Me? I want my vote to count. I'm in New Mexico, and even though I voted last week, today is the final day.

If you don't vote in presidential, that is one less for Hillary vs. Trump which is the only race. So if in your state Hillary lost by one vote, then you are indeed supporting Trump. But you know this. You are, as I said, just being obtuse.

I will not accept any blame if she loses. So far, nothing she has done has won me over.

"I'd wonder why you'd bother to vote at all..."

Votes are often cast on strength of conviction alone, regardless of how cast in stone an election may already be; hence, I consistently vote D in every election, despite living in Texas where for all practical purposes, "the nominee is decided before I get a chance to vote..."

My vote is, in addition to a ballot, also a statement of my intent and a declaration of my conscience. I will cast it regardless of how meaningless math eventually renders it. I hope others do as well, however I also realize that many people see the math alone and nothing else, and will raise their hands in surrender as soon as the Rubicon is forded.

If you had a conscience you would do everything you could to stop Trump from hurting millions...so spare me. You folks never accomplish anything except act as spoilers...what happens to your precious revolution if Trump wins and gets five court picks? You could continue to fight for what you believe in by stopping Trump and working at the grassroots level for change, we all should. But that involves work doesn't it? Can't do that with a keyboard. Real change is hard and takes time and work but giving up is easy.

So why are you voting to help Trump by voting for Clinton? She has less favorable numbers vs Trump than Sanders. So I am voting for the Green party if you don't that is your right to help Trump by voting for a candidate that only beats Trump by 1-2 points in unfavorable rating.

"If you had a conscience you would do everything you could to stop Trump from hurting millions." And that includes making sure DNC has the person who can easily beat Trump as shown by the polls.

And I actually voted for Bernie...I liked some of his ideas and knew he would never win Ohio in a million years so I thought...pull Hillary a bit left.I always intended to vote for her in the General. Bernie could never win a general...the GOP and Hillary have coddled him, he would be swiftboated out of existence in a week. Hillary won...time to accept this. and move on

Boy, condescension is the *perfect* way to get people on your side. Have you got a side of patronizing to go with that?

You aren't doing the Democratic party or Hillary Clinton any favors with pompous responses like this one. If you are so concerned about Donald Trump, I suggest you start by not being rude to other Democrats.

I thank Bernie for continuing his campaign and showing us the problem with the convention/practice of letting media conduct secret surveys to determine a presumptive nomination.

Only conservatives and conservatism would have gained if Bernie had withdrawn from the race earlier. His presence was the only reason anything progressive has been said by any Democratic presidential candidate this year.

Why couldn't you guys just leave this alone UNTIL California got to vote?
