When the candidate people support wins, those people will celebrate the victory.

It's no different on DU. People who have supported Hillary Clinton are going to celebrate her wins yesterday and her passing the majority mark in pledged delegates by more than a 150 delegate margin.

Celebration is natural and should be expected. Those who aren't celebrating can simply ignore the celebrations, which is also a typical reaction. Or, they can jump in and attempt to quash the celebrating. That never works, really.

The 2016 presidential election is now moving into the general election campaign phase, but there is going to be celebration. A majority of voting Democrats in this country have voted for Hillary Clinton. She has won the nomination, fairly and with a substantial margin of victory.

It is what it is. Let her supporters celebrate her victory, at least today. That's my suggestion.

Let's hope that Obama's meeting with Bernie tomorrow produces substantial and positive results.

Both highly qualified candidates. Obama I think will go down as one of the most successful and consequential Presidents ever. Hillary is "The Most Admired Woman" in the world.

Repubs have nominated Sarah Palin, Mittens and Donald f*cking Trump.

So...yea. I adore Sanders and hope he exacts some substantial concessions from the DNC/Clinton but for now, it's her. Considering the alternative, I'm down with that.
