Nina Turner: A strong, smart woman w/integrity.

I really hope she runs for the U.S. Senate. She would work tirelessly on behalf of the people.

Her interview starts at around 4:30. Notice the point where Ms. Clinton's Cheerleader chuckles.

Update: In an election season where I have seen one women after another lie and engage in smears against Bernie and his supporters, as a woman I am happy that there is at least a woman of integrity still engaged in the cesspool of politics.

No she's passionate and exprresses things in a great way. She got the chops.

I realize the fact that she's saying it about Bernie makes it seem obnoxious to some people.

But if she were going on like that praising Clinton , it'd be music to your ears.

... you assume that I'd be able to understand and pay attention to what she's saying rather than the disaffected and distracting way she says it. Her "passion" as you describe it, is clearly meant for the choir and less so for anyone who's not yet made up their mind.

As these things go, I suppose that's all well and good ... but if the goal was to use her as a way to get more support (rather than playing only to the support Bernie already had) then she's never been a very effective spokesperson. Bernie and his surrogates have always been good at playing to those that they'd already attracted, but (obviously) he was less successful in presenting an image and a message (whether through his own actions, his own policy, or through the voice/s of his surrogates) that actually connected or resonated beyond his base.

That's my broader point, take it or leave it. You're smart enough to understand that, and that's why I believe you were being contrary for its own sake. But, ya know what? It really doesn't matter much beyond today, does it?

Oh, please ... don't be silly!

She's the kind of talker who's "style" (if you can call it that) is so distracting that you never hear what she's trying to say. It's like listening to that old FedEx commercial with the fast-talking man. You never actually hear or understand WHAT he's saying, but it's certainly an exhausting experience to marvel at HOW he says it.

I wish I had the salt concession around here -- some people need so much of it to rub into wounds.

There's been a couple times in the past I didn't agree with her, but have always thought she is terrific.
Her passion for people is apparent when she speaks. You feel her words in your chest. She gets in you and drives you.
I'm grateful she supported Bernie and became a surrogate. I think she did a wonderful job for him.

Thank you Nina. Don't let the harpies get you down.
