2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumJust confirmed my hotel room for Philadelphia!
Right across from City Hall and a block from some of the "fun" delegations (sadly, my friend in Ohio will be out at the airport). And my close friend from the Illinois Democratic Party has confirmed she'll be attending as well...along with my neighbors who I never knew were involved in politics. Should be fun week!

(145,130 posts)I am running to be a Clinton delegate. I was told that the Texas delegation is at the airport hotel and that you need to stay with your delegation that it will be easier to take the bus from the hotel to the convention site.

(128,875 posts)There are like 3 Marriotts right there. Pretty close to the Convention Center and you could technically take the subway from there right down to South Philly (end of the line - Pattison station now called AT&T station ) to the Wells Fargo Center where the actual (prime time) convention is taking place.

(145,130 posts)They are better than I expected. If I am elected as an delegate, I will still room with another member of the Texas delegation over at the airport hotel
