What happens when an immoveable object meets an unstoppable force? This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by one_voice (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum). So, it will be verrrry interesting to see how these folks respond when Sanders (he who can never be called wrong) endorses Clinton (she who turns everyone who embraces her into a despicable piece of you-know-what). Will they remain consistent with their belief that Bernie can do no wrong and try to explain why, unlike the others, HIS endorsement is not proof of nefariousness? Or will they throw Bernie under the bus with all of the others whose endorsement of Hillary was supposedly unassailable evidence of their bad character - and admit that they were horribly wrong about Bernie all along? I can't wait to see how this paradox resolves itself ...

1. Hi Effie. I think this thread is pretty divisive right now. I don't see any point in it except to
get people mad at each other and yelling at each other. In other words, Flamebait.
I hope you will think about this and consider self-deleting. |

5. Oh c'mon. If you take the flamebait away, what is left ?
The Hill supporters cannot possibly rely on her "progressive record," as there is not one.
As far as being the First Woman President, well, that would give them the idea anyone not enthused is sexist. Although she herself plans on having her man, Bill, take over the reins of the economy. So who is the sexist then? |

15. Have pushed back on those posters in the past.
And most likely they have me on ignore.
Strategically I think "please self your pointless thread" is only effective if it is one of the first replies. After that the posters are too dug in and there's no turning back. YMMV. But yeah I am gonna post in those threads. Have a good night. |

2. You should probably replace "paradox"
with a word you understand.
See Russell, if you need any help. |

3. You act as though it is Bernie Sanders who has
At least two investigations and possible indictments and also Benghazi's bloody past history throwing his life into disarray?
Perhaps it is not Sanders (or Sanders Supporters) who need the healing? |

6. No investigations and no indictments. Perhaps you should research what the FBI is "investigating"?

8. I guess you don't know about today's Big News.
Today Benghazi raises its head again, at the same time that everyone with "On Demand" is watching the movie.

14. That's no surprise, we knew that was coming, and all it will do is make bigger fools...
...of the republicans.
So why are you guy repeating all of this stuff? Do you think it will change the Democratic Party's nominee next month? It's not, but if enough people read this stuff and start believing some of it, it will give Trump more votes. Is that what you folks want? |

4. I've seen claims by some that their vote will not change
Even if Sanders supports Clinton.
There were a few Pumas in 2008 who refused. Son of Sanders supporters will do the same in November. |

12. Their vote may not change. But will their opinion of Bernie change?
After all, they've accused every other Hillary endorser of being everything but a child of God ...

13. He always said he would endorse the nominee. He is honest and sticks to promises.
Unlike Clinton (What about the promised California debate?)
His endorsement will not change my opinion of him, whatsoever. It won't change my opinion of Hillary either, though. |

16. If you weren't among those attacking everyone and anyone who endorsed her
this observation doesn't include you. I'm very interested in how the people who think Bernie can do no wrong AND insist that endorsing Clinton is tantamount to treason will respond to his throwing his support behind her.

17. Bernie's spot under the bus was reserved the same moment his supporters first started throwing other
Democrats underneath it. It's inevitable that they will turn on him when he doesn't continue to deny reality as they plan to.
