I'd honestly assumed this recording didn't actually exist, and the story about Hillary's comments on this case were just rumors made up by her political enemies. Snopes flatly says several of these points aren't true, though they pretty obviously are.

For instance, her comment on the polygraph, and her accompanying laughter, obviously mean she knew her client to be guilty-- I don't know how else you'd interpret that "joke".

Seriously, wtf kind of sociopath laughs about this stuff? And what sort of person supports someone like this under the guise of 'advancing women', for chissake? If this was a Republican, her fans would utterly despise them-- and rightly so.

Maybe you missed a reading comprehension class. My post here was about how her answers in the interview affected the victim. The tape isn't doctored and I don't need the crack team of Google searchers at Snopes to tell me anything. It was very poor judgement for Clinton not to have apologized for the interview when it resurfaced a few years ago.

Secondly, we're all entitled to a defense. However, there's nothing in the Constitution saying that a defense attorney running for president must not get any criticism for implying young child rape victims often fantasize about sexual experiences with older men.
