By someone on another forum:
I mean Trump is literally a white nationalist who thinks Americans aren't real Americans if they're parents were immigrants and/or they're not white, but Hillary Clinton only supports a $12.50 federal minimum wage so I guess we might as well just vote for this crazy lady who's totally unfit to be a city council person much less president.

(68,352 posts)and an enemy because her actions could hand Trump the presidency and the courts. You would have thought such people would have learned their lesson in 2000 and of course they did Kerry no good in 2004. It is even worse this year. Trump is the most dangerous Republican candidate in my lifetime. The greens are dead to me.
Vote2016
(1,198 posts)granted.
Why should anyone in a non-battleground state vote for a candidate who disparages their values?
There are plenty of Democrats on the ballot. It won't matter to anyone but me if I vote for all but one.

(68,352 posts)Well, I guess that will show all the people who did not support Bernie...oh yeah...eight years of Trump because after four, voting will be impossible with the GOP busy making sure certain people can't vote...hey maybe he declares himself president for life...who knows...Trump is unqualified, stupid and a raging racist. I have never seen people calling themselves progressive and yet willing to help elect an evil tyrant like Trump;you would allowing him to pick justices for Scotus that would be on the court for 30 or 40 years. You want Jill (green traitor) to take votes from the Democratic candidate. You are probably violating the existing DU rules now ...certainly in two days advocating for a third party candidate will not be allowed. I won't have to listen to you encourage people to vote essentially for Trump...a vote for a green is a vote for Trump. Have you no shame or decency? The 16th can't come fast enough for me.

(1,507 posts)For not being able to see the forrest for the trees. I have not supported Bernie AT ALL during this primary. Nor have I supported or would ever support someone like Jill Stein, not that I need to explain any of that to you.
Perhaps you could use some lessons on satire and parody. Or basic reading comprehension?

(68,352 posts)I have seen so many green party posts here that frankly advocate for them...I mistook it as serious.

(2,542 posts)for anything that happens. They can continue to pretend like things would be magically better if only their candidate had won instead. Their crystal balls into the alternate dimension where they're (somehow, against all logic) actually in charge tell them so, obviously.
Jill Stein, while crazy and clearly a bit of a narcissist, is just the latest figurehead for the fringe element that is too afraid of responsibility to vote in a way that would actually affect change in this country. Because deep down, they know for a fact that their "change" would be just as incremental and hard-fought and slow as the kinds of achievements Democrats get already that people like the Greens shit all over in their supposed purity.
