Has there been any word on the outcome of the meeting? Did either candidate release a statement or talk to reporters afterwards?

Bernies not a Democrat! Can people not get that through their heads? asked Sen. Joe Manchin III (D-W.Va.), an early Clinton supporter. I think his mission right now is whatever he can to move the platform further left, from his socialistic ideas. I like Bernie. He identifies the problems, but his solutions dont work.

that Bernie's ideas are the better ideas and will work and will win in November.
Do not discount us. It will not work out so well for you.

"very positive."
Nina Turner was on after the meeting and for the first time, did not claim that SBS was going to be fighting "all the way to the convention" or trying to flip supers or anything like that - but rather described her mood as "very heavy" and acknowledged that it was the end of the campaign.
