Which is it?

God, it's like a sewing bee at times. The pettiness is astonishing.

The mental splitting that some are going through is quite astonishing.

One minute, Sanders is a media hound, just out to grab the spotlight at all costs.
The next minute, he's not telling other senators to stand down, because he is more important than they are.

The filibuster was successful, with the scheduled senators at hand.
Some here just seem to think that the senators who speak just run up to the podium, ad hoc.

It looks like they're doing something, but the bill is very weak, except in denying due process. If they're going to put the effort into a filibuster, then make it a bill that would actually do something.
