Nor is he going to endorse Hillary. Ever.

26. i am sure he meant it then.
I am more skeptical now. I think he has boxed himself into a corner now and he may find it hard to do so. No doubt some of his more passionate supporters and staff egged him on. They thought the dnc would yield and meet his demands but that has not happened. He is starting to get ridiculed on the media, trump is self destructing so Bernie can not even make the electability argument anymore. He is fading from the media as attention is turning to the GE and of course Orlando. He missed yet another opportunity to rally with his colleagues during the gun fillibuster.

7. What Sanders does tonight is irrelevant. The job is to kick Trump's ass and win the Senate.
If his action is not relevant to those goals, then he is not relevant.

8. I doubt it, though it doesn't really matter. Most of the real world has moved on to the GE.
That's going to be the main focus now.

9. Quitting in what sense?
He already ceased running against Hillary.
He already made it clear he's going the the convention with his delegates, not for the nomination, but to demonstrate the depth of support for "the most progressive platform ever passed by the Democratic Party. A platform which makes it crystal clear that the Democratic Party is on the side of working people." He's not "quitting" on that goal. The question is, to what extent will he voice support for Hillary? Call on voters to fight to elect Dems to all levels of government in Nov -- including electing Hillary to presidency? Or what? We'll find out in three hours. |

12. With no more private jet fuel money, expect more of these "webisodes" of The Bernie Sanders Show.
They will allow him to sponge up more metadata on his followers, without to much cost.

I would bet that at this point "Florida alligator" has more name recognition among the public at large than "Bernie Sanders".
