KING: Hacked DNC documents may show ugly connections between party and Hillary Clinton’s campaign

Earlier this week it was announced that a hacker breached the servers of the Democratic Party and obtained the DNC's opposition research on Donald Trump. The DNC confirmed as much.

The hacker claims to have given over thousands of additional pages to WikiLeaks.

First, the hacker released financial records from donors to the DNC. Earlier this week the DNC vehemently denied that any such information was accessed or stolen.

Two other documents that are very concerning were internal memos. One, claiming to be written on May 26, 2015, a full year before Hillary was declared the winner of the party’s presidential nomination and months before the first primary was held, speaks of her as if she is already the nominee and how they aim to spend the following year preparing her for such a moment.

The DNC is supposed to be an unbiased arbiter of the campaign and this memo suggests anything but that. Furthermore, the memo gives strategies for they can best position her for general election. One of those strategies says they aim to, "Use specific hits to muddy the water around ethics, transparency, and campaign finance attacks on HRC."

How ugly is that? Muddying the water? What a mess.

Another memo claims that they "will utilize reporters to drive a message" but do so "with no fingerprints" on the process so that the public believes the messages are coming from the reporters and not the campaign.

The memo is clearly addressed TO the DNC, which means it came from elsewhere and it is dated the same date as when Sanders declared his candidacy so at the time there was only one candidate running for the Democratic Party.

Um, in fact, yours was one of the prior posts hidden. What the hell are you trying to do?

In the last 5 juries I've been a part of, I've both hidden and let stay posts from both Secretary Clinton and Senator Sanders supporters, equally. And have only alerted on the most sordid and the most nasty of posts *that violate the TOS*... again from BOTH sides.

"People like me"? Yeah, if there were more people like me on this site, Skinner wouldn't have to enact a WHOLE NEW system to curb the bad behavior here (by people with 5 hides or more ).

You're another "sore winner" who will drive votes away from Secretary Clinton at *her* peril with such behavior.

Think about it, Skippy...

The whole hacker email isn't really even credible, since there is clearly no evidence the email was sent from the DNC.

...but I have a HUGE issue with people whose behavior makes this site suck by continually disregarding the TOS, and *much more importantly*, chase votes away from our presumptive nominee, Secretary Clinton.

Again... *THINK* about it.

Hillary Clinton has been a Democrat for 47 years: First Lady, Senator, Secretary of State.
Bernie Sanders has been a Democrat for 16 months; Joined to take advantage of the party's structure/funding after being an independent. As an Independent he was allowed to Chair a Senate Committee and be ranking member on the Budget Committee; as a non-Democrat.

Seniority has its privileges.
