The U.S. State Department, responding to a Freedom of Information Act request, has said they will not release Hillary Clinton's emails related to the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement until November 31.

(40,656 posts)they would release them. Or it might be knee jerk. No republicans but Trump remain and he never gave speeches to the leaches. Bernie released his. Her conditions have been met yet still no wall street speeches. Amazing. Love that transparency.

(364 posts)Hopefully that is the standard amount of time it takes for request to response. Otherwise, that does not seem fair. I am a strong Hillary supporter.

(51,360 posts)Like the Goldman transcripts, we'll all get to find out after the election. At least I've found a bright side to the enactment of the TPP. If it's passed the small pickup trucks everyone used to always buy (and are the most popular trucks in the world) will be imported again. Something known as the "chicken tax" is the reason they stopped being imported and that will go away. I haven't figured out a positive side to Goldman screwing us over though. Just keep telling yourself you don't need that much food in retirement.
