Your response will be filed in a special receptacle for appropriate handling at the office that receives it.

Then, they'll send you another request for a donation.

They should stick to the emails I ignore. At least that is more cost effective.

But I think a trash can would have been a better way to get rid of something that is no longer of any use. The DNC has no use for that.

Just because something is still displayed doesn't mean it isn't trash.

I would hope that the might also see possibilities for reform and ambitious goals were they, I dunno, crafting a platform for an upcoming election or something.

Such a powerful display of rebellion in response to your candidate losing. I'm sure that will show them.

Actually the call wasn't for me - they were looking for my mother who died four years ago.

Mom was on a fixed income and once in while would respond to a fundraising plea with $10 or $15 --- it seems to have taken them quite a while to miss her donations. Makes me wonder if donations are down so much they're digging up any old list they can find. Though I'm surprised they managed to connect my phone# to Mom as she was still on her own when she died.

29. A bright, eager young man came to my door soliciting $ for Democrats
Sun Jun 19, 2016, 11:06 PM
Jun 2016

a few days ago. I told him where I've been sending my money and what I've come to think of the Democratic Party these days. Don't remember any of it verbatim except that his eyes went wide at the phrase "enlightened millennials."

Also, when I voted this year, instead of consulting the Democratic Party recommendations as I always have, I actually researched some of the less familiar local races, and when there was nothing else, voted for those who sounded like real people and not professional politicians or in-group Party members.

The entire process felt better, more real, this year. I've volunteered for the Democrats for years, but in the future, no matter who wins the election, it's going to be nice volunteering for true progressive change along with people who more closely share my values.

This primary has clarified so many things. So, thanks to everyone who made that possible.

Also, Motown_Johnny, you probably don't remember, but a while back you gave me a history lesson in the LGBT marriage struggle, all those who wanted to marry the one they loved so long ago. It was one of the most moving series of comments I've read on this site.

30. They sent me that same survey a month or so ago.

I filled it out properly. Oh, yes I did.
I corrected a few of their questions and reworded their assumptions to reflect reality.
I had comments in each comment section and in places they did not have a comment section, but should have.
They requested I use a stamp on the envelope. I did not bother.
They knew, if they looked it over, I was no conservative, or even 3rd Way Republican lite, but a real Democrat.
I had fun filling it out. Looking forward to another one, if they dare.
