53. Mark Cuban made an observation about Donald Trump's businesses
Tue Jun 21, 2016, 11:17 AM
Jun 2016

Mr. Cuban pointed out that someone who is worth $5-10 billion doesn't run measly businesses like Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka or beauty pageants. Mr. Cuban implied that Donald Trump probably is cash poor and that his assets are leveraged and not easily liquidated.

There's another story that's emerging. Donald Trump has spent something like $45 million of his own money on his campaign so far. But he has made it clear that he considers this a loan and expects to be reimbursed. Additionally, his latest FEC filing indicates that he's taking a salary from his campaign which is something candidates never do.

He doesn't construct buildings any more because banks won't finance him because of his history of bankruptcies. When you consider that he's refusing to release any of his tax returns, it becomes reasonable to think that Donald Trump isn't worth anywhere near the $10 billion that he claims. He probably has to get his money back.

I'm not a Trump supporter but I'll give him props for almost self funding the primary. That takes a lot of guts.

What I will do is bash him on being so polarizing that his own party won't even donate to get him elected.

And it's far too late to get a good start now. For some inexplicable reason, Trump is doing next to nothing regarding funding his campaign.

The most likely reason is that he is not even close to being as rich as he says.

He is on the verge of handing the GOP its worst defeat in history. Clinton has 150 full time employees in Ohio alone.

Trump will be remembered and scorned for a long time after 2016. The humiliation looks set to be epic. I don't see how someone with his out-of-control ego can withstand this.

He loaned his campaign money only to repay himself with political donations. At the end of this he might actually make money off of the dumb yokels that are stupid enough to give him money. No one should be surprised. 16 years ago he said it's what he'd do.

If he didn't win, how would he get repaid? He doesn't have political clout to lose and get others to pay off the debt.

He took a gamble during the primary, it worked.

He won't gamble hundreds of millions.

The rich often become rich by risking other people's money.

So if Trump was really worth 10 billion he could easily cut a couple checks.

I think more likely he is not as rich as he says. But I have to wonder if he would lose interest if he knows he's going to lose.

All he has to do from now until November is to have his campaign have one ridiculous incident every week and he wins the news for that week. Hillary's expensive ads and rallies or pressers won't matter. The media is trying to hand this Presidency to Trump hands down,

Just think if no media cable networks covered any of his rallies and no national networks covered his rallies or his stupid campaign incidents.
Hillary is fighting an uphill battle against the media. She has to pay dearly for any messaging in any media ...Trump gets it for free. The only thing reported for Hillary today was Chelsea's newborn. But you can hear Trump ranting about ISIS, Islamic terrorists, immigrants, building walls, andhow much people love him...24/7.
