It was just reported that Bernie Sanders is about to show up at the Democratic Party Sit-In in Congr

ess

The cameras and microphones have been shut off by Paul Ryan and the Republicans, so C-SPAN hasn't been allowed to carry it, but Periscope and Facebook users are providing whatever feed they can.
The Republican censorship of this extremely important day is an absolute outrage and just goes to show how little freedom of information this government wants us to have!
Thank goodness for everyday people who still believe in freedom of speech and information!

Anyone knows when Hillary will make it out there? it is one of her projects (Gun control).

so I wouldn't expect her to be there. This is a demonstration by Dem congresspeople including some Senators, but Hillary is technically a private citizen.

Considering HRC has a campaign to focus on most likely she'll let the senators do their job so she can focus on that.

She is, after all, the presumptive presidential nominee of the 2016 Democratic Party.

She should take a prominent stand, and make it loud and clear.

Although it doesn't really matter if she was there or not there: she has been an avid supporter of gun control, including an assault weapons ban, for many decades.

She is not a member of Congress, but she is on the cusp of becoming the new leader of the Democratic Party. So I'm glad she came to make her presence and support known.

BTW: I don't think Obama or Biden can go on the House floor either, without being invited (as for the State of the Union address). And that ain't gonna happen.

Senator Al Franken was there from almost the beginning and sat on the floor with them for quite some time, and Senator Elizabeth Warren was there for a while too.

Did you see the OP's question? "Anyone knows when Hillary will make it out there?" Any comments about "this shit" with respect to that question?

Dozens and dozens of Congressmen and some Senators took part in the sit-in. Why an OP simply about one single Senator?

I hope he stays a Dem from now on and keep the flames alive. I was not a huge fan of his campaign (but I blame Weaver more than anyone), and I think we need Bernie and his focus INSIDE the Democratic Party.

I'm proud of our Democrats, particularly Lewis, Pelosi, Warren, Hillary, Bernie, and of course my all time favorite, Obama. Go Dems! Team Blue!
