Steven Colbert on Trump's new financial report: a clip from The Producers...

....on how they could make a pile of money by deliberately producing a complete failure of a show. You remember that scene?

There's been some speculation since Trump filed it about how he could actually turn a profit off this dog of a campaign, but Colbert playing that clip made me whoop with laughter.

Folks, this has been my best TV day evah, from Hillary's speech to the House sit-in (which is still going on, and Maxine Waters asked that they not leave until daybreak), to Steven Colbert.

Tonight, I am proud to be a Democrat.

He just played that tiny clip, where suddenly the guy realizes there is a way to make money off a flop.

You just put the other piece in place. It's awesome.
