FBI Director James Comey said Tuesday that his agency would not recommend that Department of Justice prosecutors bring charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of private email servers during her tenure at the State Department, saying she and her staff engaged in no intentional misconduct.
Comey said at a surprise press briefing that Clinton was, however, extremely careless with sensitive information.

FBI recommends no charges against Clinton
Federal officials have decided not to pursue federal charges against Hillary Clinton for her private email setup, FBI Director James Comey said Tuesday in an announcement that will send a shockwave throughout national politics.
In a press briefing at the bureau's headquarters in downtown Washington, Comey said investigators and prosecutors had concluded there was not sufficient evidence to push forward with an indictment against Clinton, clearing her of a federal investigation that has loomed over her presidential campaign for nearly a year.
Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case, he said.
Comeys announcement comes just three days after the former secretary of State sat for a 3.5-hour interview with the FBI on Saturday, and just a few hours before President Obama is set to campaign with Clinton in Charlotte, N.C.
The juxtaposition is likely to inflame White House critics, who have insisted that political pressures would prevent any chance of an indictment for Clinton, regardless of the damage to national security.

This is good news I suppose. Those who think she should have been charged likely weren't going to vote for her anyway. Don't like the "extremely careless" language though. I suspect we'll see that in future Trump ads.
