Benghazi Hearing: GOP’s Embarrassing Shame, Clinton’s Triumphant Vindication

Please read and share:

"It sure looks like it. Wow! So another report that fails to find Hillary at fault—just vague assertions that the Obama administration could have done better. Deh… after any security failure there are always lessons to be learned, one can always do better against constantly evolving threats. Perhaps Congress should not have cut funding to embassy security? Do you think that the report might cover that aspect, the singularly most important aspect? Don’t hold your breath. Do not be duped into thinking that this was an honest fact finding expedition—no, it was nothing but a fishing trip. Rep. Elijah Cummings, the panel’s top Democrat, blasted partisanship on the committee."

Rep. Elijah Cummings, the panel’s top Democrat, blasted partisanship on the committee.

“Democrats offered to work with Chairman Gowdy on a joint report, and we even offered to give him a draft of our report ahead of time,” Cummings said. “Instead, he mocked our idea and decided to go it alone right before the presidential conventions. We can’t comment on his partisan report because we haven’t read it, and we haven’t read it because Republicans didn’t want us to check it against the evidence we obtained.”?
