In "defiant" "manic" speech, the Don once AGAIN defends his anti-semitic anti-Hillary image.

He just can never, never back down.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/07/us/politics/donald-trump-campaign.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=first-column-region®ion=top-news&WT.nav=top-news

Donald J. Trump on Wednesday offered a defiant defense of his campaign’s decision to publish an image widely viewed as anti-Semitic — saying he regretted deleting it — and vigorously reaffirmed his praise of Saddam Hussein, the murderous Iraqi dictator.

In the span of 30 minutes, an often-shouting Mr. Trump breathed new life into a controversy that was sparked on Saturday by his posting of an image on his Twitter account of a six-pointed star next to a picture of Hillary Clinton, with money seeming to rain down in the background. The image was quickly, and broadly, criticized for invoking stereotypes of Jews. Mr. Trump deleted it two hours later, and replaced the star image with a circle.

“ ‘You shouldn’t have taken it down,’ ” Mr. Trump recalled telling one of his campaign workers. “I said, ‘Too bad, you should have left it up.’ I would have rather defended it.”

“That’s just a star,” Mr. Trump said repeatedly.

Mr. Trump had not discussed the Twitter message at length until Wednesday night, at his rally in Cincinnati, and his remarks seemed to clash with those of his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew, who earlier in the day had defended Mr. Trump in an unusual and candid op-ed article, suggesting that the Twitter post was “careless.”

Who the fuck cares? It was a slur against Jews, the only people who care are Jews and a few supporters; other than those people, no one really gives two shits about anti-Semitism and he knows it. The Jews are not big republicans, there are a few, of course, but he can always sweet talk some of those types. It plays to those who are bigots and hate Jews. If anything, I think he is trying to rile up a base of complainers who do not vote, but might come out to vote for this POS. He has to balance his hate and given how much he has focused on Latinos, Mexicans in particular, and Muslims, he needed another group and Jews are always a popular target. Anti-Semitism on the right was always divided in two camps; the far-right which are never shy about their hate of us, and the ones closer to the center who "love" the Jews for Israel and money, so they have to balance their bigotry just right. It is the more moderate ones who will now drop much of their act and let that bigotry shine through, which will also allow for it to crop up on the left in a more open fashion, because if the right does it, as long as the left doesn't go "to far right", then it can always find an air of acceptability among the center and the left.

When all is said and done, this incident will not even be a blip on most people's radars except the neo-Nazis, a few other anti-Semites, and Jews and that will be about the extent of it.

Excuse my language but this blatant bigotry is disgusting beyond words. Trump and his entire campaign should be on their knees begging forgiveness for associating themselves with such vileness. I apologize for those people. I expect the media to continue hammering him over this. It's repulsive and unacceptable.

I do know there are some out there who are concerned, even angry, and I am relieved to know it.

Antisemitism, also isn't exclusive to the right. We've got a problem with it within our own party.

As I said, there are some who do care, mainly Jews and a few supporters, but in the grand scheme, this means nothing to most people, nor do they actually care.

Antisemitism, also isn't exclusive to the right.

I never said it was, because I already know that "We've got a problem with it within our own party" to be true.

I have been at this for a long time. It isn't just because I am Jewish, I have actually studied anti-Semitism for years, and the hard truth is most barely know anything about it or Jews, for that matter. Some may see my words as "bitter", it isn't, it is simply reality as I see it and have seen it for years. I know there are some who do care and others willing to learn, but they are a small, select group.
