2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumIs Maureen Dowd really necessary?
Just read her column and it is another hit piece on the Clintons. This is a person who spent most of 2000 doing the same to Al Gore, and lying about him to do it. I've long wondered why the NY Times continues to print a column that is nothing more than a spoiled teenager's slam book. The one thing the is gratifying is that most of the commenters on the Times site are pushing back hard on Dowd.

Whatever...it's beyond ridiculous at this point. I pay no attention to her anymore.

Thanks Joan. I started the tag after @leeladaou and I read that despicable column and decided to speak up about it.

It's been a tough week but seeing #PresidentObamaNotBarry trending is beautiful, as I've been writing about that MoDo crap for years

The racial context is the entire point. "Barry" is intended to be derisive and belittling. #PresidentObamaNotBarry
