2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumThis Bernie voter is glad that we're at this point now where I had always expected us to be...
Unified.
Sure the process was messy, but I had faith in it. I still do.
The path is changed, so that our main priority is to keep the White House Democratic, give the Congress a Democratic majority and drive the country in more a progressive direction for all.
We can do that if everyone in our team works together for common goals.
I know that it can be done, what we need to do is both listen to ourselves, and push back against the Republicans, who have no ones best interests at heart except their own through proven failed policies.
This is our apple to bite and share... Take a bite!

(58,785 posts)We're already a majority, but we need to get out just another 5% or so of registered Democrats to make up for concentrating so many people in urban areas.

But those two speeches -- Bernie's and Hillary's -- were incredibly moving! Almost made me cry! Absolutely thrilling!
As a long time Bernie supporter, I sure wholeheartedly support Hillary now!
Wonderful! Wonderrful!

(72,790 posts)I had no issue with Bernie taking as much time as he needed. I said he should endorse between the final primary and the convention, and he did just that.
